On getting home, Zhang Liling received a congratulatory message from Butler Gu on finishing her last class.
The Michelin star chef was not left behind.
Zhang Liling smiled from ear to ear while thanking them before going to her bedroom.
In the evening, Song Jujing phoned her to know how she was doing.
"...what kind of daughter did I give birth to?"
"What have I done this time around?" Zhang Liling asked with sleepy eyes.
She was just waking up from sleep and trying to sit up when her mother's call came in. Had it been she was still sleeping when her phone rang, she would have been annoyed.
She and Tungmei decided not to do anything for the day. They won't open their books until the next day. The remaining hours of the day, was a time to rest.
"Why am I the only one always checking up on you? Can't you do the same?" Song Jujing chided her disapprovingly.
