The next day, Tungmei came over to visit with a basket of fresh fruits.
Song Jujing looked so happy to see her and immediately urged her to take a seat at the dining table before personally serving her breakfast.
"You just came, and my mother is already showering you with love," Zhang Liling commented with pouted lips.
There was a hint of made up jealousy in her tone.
Song Jujing smiled and turned to Tungnei to say, "She is jealous because I didn't serve her breakfast myself."
Tungmei chuckled at that revelation with a hand over her mouth. How petty could her friend get?
"Liling, you have to allow me enjoy your mother's affection for a bit."
Zhang Liling snorted and shoved a spoon of food into her mouth.
After breakfast, Song Jujing took them to her bedroom where she gave out the gifts she bought from them.
Tungmei was surprised when she got two different gifts, and as she gazed at them in her hands, she looked up surprise.
