Since Tungmei started her internship at Zhang corp, she has been sending money back home to her parents who wouldn't let her be.
She already wasn't getting paid enough to live a comfortable life, and they were already squeezing the little one she could save, out of her hands.
"Maybe it's time to set some rules to them." Zhang Liling suggested.
"Every month, you give almost 50% of your earnings to them, leaving 60-65% for your bills which is not right. At this day and age, it is not right to be without savings as anything could happen at any time." She advised with her gaze resting on her face.
"I really have to start hardening my heart. I know that my parents did their best to raise me and pay my school fees, but that doesn't call for this. It's not like I'm undergoing some kind of punishment."
A soft sigh escaped Tungmei's lips. She was tired, but what could she do.
