Arriving at her place, Zhang Liling finished eating the food her housekeeper prepared for her before going into a series of calls.
First she spoke with Mr. Fang to inform him about her arrival. Then exchanging one or two info, she hung up on him and moved over to the next person.
Chuanli was excited to have received a customized package from her and couldn't for another second before phoning her as soon as he set his eyes on the box.
"Miss Zhang, I see I have a place in your heart." he said amid laughter.
"Of course, I will never forget you. After all, you helped me get that difficult friend of yours," Zhang Liling replied with a smile.
"It's nothing. Is he still being a little hard to manage?" Chuanli probed as his ears immediately perked up as an interesting smile graced his lips.
He seems curious to know more about his friend's emotional stance at the moment.
