Maybe she didn't care about it.

Saying up to here, he gazed into her eyes and added. "I beg you to give me some of your time."
"Hahahaha..." Kiera chuckled with a hand over her lips.
"Of course I will. I have all the time in the world for you. But I hope I will be safe." She probed, hinting at something.
Immediately, Zhang Renshu assured her of her safety.
"My wife can't do anything to you. She can't make me happy. She is just there as a figurative symbol and nothing else. I am already very unhappy with her, so she wouldn't dare to do anything to you."
