" You are awake," this was the first thing that Bree said to the maid when she regained her consciousness. After the short funeral, she and Yakov returned to the camp where they headed straight to the knights' tents, though Bree didn't want to take issue with an overly sensitive maid who just lost her mate, there was nothing else that she could do about it. She had to make an example out of the maid or else others would think that she was an easy target.
Especially the man standing behind her, she turned to look at Yakov who calmly stood next to her chair as if he was one of the most loyal subjects of her but Bree knew that the man was a black belly tyrant, if she gave him a chance, he wouldn't think twice before pouncing at her like a little fox.
Yakov: "…." I do want to pounce on you, your majesty but my pounce is different than the fox.
