He heard her sniff for one last time as she raised her hand and wiped her nose making a soft whimpering noise as she said, " Why are you being so nice to me? I thought you hated me."
" Don't be ridiculous your majesty, I can never hate you."
She scoffed causing him to sigh as he turned her around such that she was looking at him, they have been married for years but he was sure that this was the first time the two were having a heart-to-heart talk for the first time, her attempts to ignore has caused his patience to wear thin, fortunately, his job was demanding enough for him to suppress himself instead of doing something crazy upon seeing her avoid him.
