All the three guardians had heard about Qin Yan from their sons and brother before. They came to know that Qin Yan was transferred from Class three to Class Four recently and she was very good at academics. Teacher Wang often praised her in class and she was most likely the brightest student of Class Four.
Zhen Chengyu smiled at Qin Yan, "Miss Qin, I am Zhen Kai's elder brother, nice to meet you," Zhen Chengyu extended his hand towards Qin Yan. Qin Yan shakes his hand back, "It's my pleasure to meet you, Mr.Zhen." Zhen Chengyu was quite impressed by Qin Yan's attitude. She did not look at him with worshipping attitude nor did she glance at him seductively which was the reaction of most females of this age.
Mother Jiang and Mother Xing also greeted Qin Yan nicely and exchanged the formalities. They too were impressed with Qin Yan. She spoke clearly with neither overbearing nor servile manner.
The three guardians were wondering how their sons and brother changed. Yesterday, they came back to their homes covered in injuries and took a military salute. They promised to study well and gain good scores in upcoming mid-term examinations. Zhen Chengyu was quite shocked seeing his brother's changed behaviour. He could not understand what made Zhen Kai so obedient.
Similarly Mother Jiang and Mother Xing were extremely worried seeing the injuries of their sons. They asked them who beat them up but their sons responded that they fell down when they were studying. Their mouths fell open. They could not understand how their sons who did nothing other than causing trouble, were so determined to study.
When they saw the video, everybody came to a realization. Whatever changes happened were done by Qin Yan. They didn't know how she was able to do it when they as parents were unable to convince their own sons.
Whatever the reason may be, they were quite happy seeing the changes in their sons. Mother Jiang, Mother Xing and Zhen Chengyu were very thankful to Qin Yan. They kept praising her.
"Miss Qin, thank you for teaching my son. I was really at my wits end trying to make him study, but I failed so many times that I gave up eventually. I didn't expect him to obey you. You have done me a great favour. If there is anything you need help for, you can look for me. I will be happy to help," Mother Xing said with a grateful smile.
Mother Jiang and Zhen Chengyu both echoed Mother Xing and handed their cards to Qin Yan.
Both the principal and Teacher Wang were shocked seeing the guardians' behaviour.
The principal asked Wang Zhongyun in a low voice, "Teacher Wang, why can't I understand what is going on? Are these people crazy? I have never seen anyone thanking somebody for beating up their own children so badly."
Teacher Wang was equally puzzled. He couldn't understand what was going on, "Sir, after Qin Yan's parents are here, we naturally will know the whole truth."
Just as Teacher Wang stopped speaking, he saw Qin Yicheng and Lu Yaran entering the office.
After hearing about the incident from Qin Muran, Qin Yicheng was burning from anger. Knowing that Qin Yan might have offended these families, he started berating Qin Yan directly, "Qin Yan, you unfilial daughter! How did I give birth to such a disobedient daughter like you! You have no manners and only know how to bully your classmates. If I had known earlier, I would have strangled you to death the moment you were born!"
The more Qin Yicheng spoke, the angrier he got. He slammed the table loudly and shouted, "You only know how to cause trouble all day long. I will die from anger because of you sooner or later!"
Lu Yaran also started to fan the flames. She apologized to the three guardians, "We are really sorry for what our daughter did to your sons. We have really failed as parents in educating her. Our two other children are obedient and smart. Only Qin Yan came out to be dumb and unruly. I hope you can forgive her. I will teach her a good lesson later on," Lu Yaran not only insulted Qin Yan but at the same time praised her children Qin Muran and Qin Mufeng.
Qin Yan watched the performance of both husband and wife coldly. They didn't ask her what the matter was and directly started scolding her.
"Why are you standing there? Come here and APOLOGIZE!" Qin Yicheng roared at Qin Yan.
Zhen Chengyu frowned. He couldn't understand why these parents were adamant that Qin Yan was in the wrong. It was fine that after watching the video on the forum, Qin Yan would be blamed. But shouldn't they ask their daughter about the whole matter before criticizing her!
Qin Yan looked at the whole situation in silence. She sneered in her heart seeing her parents'behaviour, "I won't apologize. I don't think I have done anything wrong," she said calmly.
"Yan Yan, this is not the time to be impulsive. We have always given in to your unruly behaviour but this is enough. You have hurt your classmates so badly but you still aren't willing to apologise! Where would our Qin family put our face?" Lu Yaran reprimanded Qin Yan.
