Decked up elegantly, Alpha Raven and his daughter Princess Melissa were walking towards their royal carriage parked outside the front entrance gate of the castle. They were accompanied by several armed guards from behind, along with Prince Illay next to them.
Just as Xanthus firmly asked King Valerie before, he ordered Illay to escort them outside the castle, and without any question, he was rightfully performing his assigned duty.
However, while they were reaching close to the giant gate, fiddling her slender white fingers, Melissa turned her neck a few more times behind. Her brown grim eyes were squinted and from her expression, she seemed to be earnestly looking for someone behind.
As per his keen observation, Illay didn't fail to notice her perplexed self and with a sly smirk on his face, he passed a remark, "Princess, if I am not wrong, are you still hoping for brother Xanthus's arrival before you leave?"
