Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5

Diamond didn't mind people looking at her now. In fact, she was actually proud, as it had been a very long time since she positively drew anyone's attention.

When she walked into the building, the receptionist welcomed her warmly despite her cheap clothes. As she was someone with an appointment, they took directly her to the manager's office.

As soon as she saw the middle-aged man. The first thing that she did was to, "I am very sorry for coming late," saying apologetically to him with a faint smile on her face.

One needed to accept when wrong and she was surely in the wrong this time, so apologizing wasn't an embarrassing matter.

The manager, to be honest, was very shocked when Diamond walked in. For someone to afford a villa in Cherry Court, it meant that the person was a big shot.

He wasn't expecting to see a pretty face wearing clothes that didn't even cost A$500 altogether to be the owner of that villa.

He had always known that one shouldn't judge the book by its cover. He also wasn't expecting for the other to apologize as these rich people rarely put others in their eyes, so his impression of Diamond rose.

"Haha, it's okay. I hope that everything went well."

Diamond smiled brightly when she thought of everything that happened after leaving that forsaken office, "it was perfect. So, what do I need to do?"

She just couldn't wait to see her house, so she wanted to deal with the paperwork quickly. The manager could see the young lady's excitement written all over her face and decided to not take too much of her time.

Diamond began to sign the relevant documents that were needed and also listened to some history about the Cherry Court.

In the Cherry Court, there were only five villas and there won't be an addition in the future.

The Cherry Court had its own property management office that deals with all issues about the court and each villa owner will pay a certain fee to cover the miscellaneous expenses incurred in the process.

The Court was on the outskirts of the city. And it takes roughly thirty minutes to one hour for one to drive from there to the C.B. D which wasn't too bad.

Diamond was very satisfied with the court and decided to see more when she went there.

The manager gave her all the documents that she was supposed to get and she politely rejected for the man to take her to see the house.

Diamond then drove out of the city and since there wasn't any traffic. She only took around forty minutes before she was at the Cherry Court gates.

It would have been easy for her to drive right through it since she owns a villa there, but because she hasn't been registered yet, she needed to go through another process again.

Diamond was taken to the office where she began the registration process and got acquainted with the property management office employees at the same time.

"These are two passcodes that you will use for the gate. You may keep one for yourself and if you have another family member, you may give it to him/her. there is .........…."

She listened attentively and, after a while; she thanked the other warmly. Diamond took her processed pass cards and drove towards the villa complex; the villas were sparsely built, and this gave more room for each villa.

The Cherry Court has five villas, a golf course, and an entertainment building that has a public gym, swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball court. All of these were put in place so that the tenants may have some fun and interact as well.

Diamond applauded the builder for all of this, but she was currently anxious and excited to see the villa itself and not what was outside.

When she arrived, she used the normal key to unlock the front door and entered inside.

The villa was a three-storied one. The first floor has a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a sitting room, a pantry room, and a restroom.

The second floor has six bedrooms which have bathroom en-suites, so there is no need for people to share the toilet or bathroom in the future, and a small library.

On the third floor, there is one master bedroom with an exaggerated walk-in closet that left her in awe.

"When will I be able to fully fill this room?" she wondered as she looked at the room that was big enough to become another bedroom with its closet as well.

Inside the closet, there was another hidden closet, and she guessed that it was probably for storing expensive stuff or rare items, which wasn't bad.

'I will be storing good stuff from the system later in the future!'

There was also a built-in safe, which was another good measure of security. After checking the closet, she checked the huge bathroom, which made her feel speechless.

There was a square tub/swimming pool and a separate shower enclosed with glass. Just looking at the luxurious bathroom, she could already imagine some crazy things in her head that turned her face beet red.

Apart from these, there was also a jacuzzi, a personal gym room, a study room, and a balcony with a sleeping couch and some tables and chairs.

The basement was equipped with a laundry room and a movie room. The villa was perfect and she just couldn't wait to live there.

Outside, there was a swimming pool at the back and a servant's quarters that had three bedrooms, a joint kitchen and dining room, and a joint bathroom and toilet.

The house was huge enough to house a full family or several servants, so she didn't need to share her huge villa with any outsiders.

The villa was fully furnished, which was another huge advantage, but other things still needed to be bought like groceries, more bed sheets, and toiletries.

She had money now, so she decided to buy it the next day as it was getting late already.

As much as she wanted to live in this new house, it was impossible at the moment as she needed to move out of the old house. The month was still in the middle and she doubted if she would receive her security deposit back. After all, her landlord was a rogue.

Diamond left the villa after changing the passcodes. She stopped at a restaurant and bought some supper which she ate there.
