Yin Zhu stared at Situ Zhilan who was smiling at her, however for some reason Yin Zhu didn't feel safe with the woman in front of her.
"Are you not comfortable with me?" Situ Zhilan asked with another tilt of her head as she placed the cup of tea in her hand onto the saucer. "Forgive me for calling you suddenly but I wanted to ask if everything is going well with Master Ye. Don't think too much." She chuckled softly with her fan in front of her mouth. "I just feel responsible since I was the one who caused the two of you to meet."
Upon the mention of Master Ye, Yin Zhu remembered the night when she had to serve Situ Ziyu. Her expression turned almost sour but she managed to keep her expression neutral before replying, "I am just a mere maid, young mistress Zhilan. How can I think of getting close to Master Ye?"
Situ Zhilan felt as if someone had force-fed her bitter melon.
