Nix immediately lifted his head, having felt Valerio's presence, and smiled at him.
"Hello, Valerio." He approached him, his face glowing with warmth.
"Nix." With an indifferent expression on his face, Valerio shifted his gaze in his direction.
"What brings you here? Is everything okay with Leia?" Nix inquired in a slightly worried tone.
"Yes, everything is fine with her." Valerio nodded as he sat in the chair to which Nix had motioned.
Nix took his seat as well and crossed his legs. "So... what brings you here then?" Curiosity flashed in his eyes.
"I'm curious about something and have come to confirm it with you." Valerio clarified.
"Hmmm…" Now even more curious, Nix raised his brow at him. "Go on."
"It is concerning my caregiver." Valerio began.
"You mean, Everly?" Nix tilted his head to one side, deep interest visible in his eyes.
