"Have you stopped crying?" Denise asked with concern, but I merely sniffled in response, unable to speak due to the tears I had shed earlier.
"Well, it's good that you've finally stopped crying. Are you sure you've let out all your tears, and there won't be a hidden outburst later?" she inquired further, but I didn't answer.
I wasn't sure if I would cry in secret again later when David and Denise weren't around.
Denise was currently at my house because David was very worried about my incessant crying, that he borrowed my phone to call her and ask her to come over and help calm me down.
