Chapter 31: Do You Hate It Now that You Are Not Drunk?

With a paternity test, at least people would not be able to comment and say the baby was not his.
"Stop covering your face. You might not be able to breathe."
Edric got the test results from her, so she won't keep using it to cover her face.
Loreen wanted to cover her face again, but it would indeed be bad if she had difficulty breathing. She already passed out earlier.
A familiar masculine scent greeted her nostrils.
It was Edric's cologne.
And somehow, it didn't make her nauseated or dizzy despite other scents that were making her feel terrible.
But he was sitting so close to her. Just an inch away. She could feel his body heat and smell his nice cologne.
His hands were on his lap, and she somehow felt relieved that just like the day they met at the bar, there was no ring on his fingers.
