"My child, you are drunk," Madame Maven stated which was obvious as she led Skyla to her room. Inwardly she was thankful that Doran was not home. This could have landed her in serious trouble.
"Yeah! I upped a notch. Tomorrow is Sunday I am going to sleeepppp in," Skyla slurred, leaning on Madame Maven.
The older woman shook her head in amusement. At least her miss was happy.
"I will fix you a ginger-spearmint tea so you can wake up fresh the next morning. There will be no hangover," she chuckled to Skyla while laying her down on her divan.
But the red-haired girl was already half asleep. She took off her shoes, placed her purse aside and covered her with a blanket. Stroking her hair the old woman smiled and said a prayer for her young miss before exiting her room.
