Selene shrugged her shoulders knowing that she had officially disappointed Jake. Jake was never one to get angry quickly, but his actions are justified.
Moving back to the living room, Selene looked at her son, who had fallen asleep in his grandfather's arms.
"What is the matter, sweetheart?" Dean Rogers asked worriedly as he noticed the worried look on his daughter's face.
"It's nothing serious dad," Selene dismissed the question, trying to smile.
"It's Jake, isn't it? Is he angry at you?" Dean asked, knowing his daughter all too well.
"Yes dad, he's mad at me and I think the twins are disappointed too, I don't know what to do anymore? Do you think I acted selfishly?" Selene condemned herself, a tear rolling down her cheek.
Dean gently laid his grandson on the couch before engulfing his daughter into a comforting hug.
