Chapter 3 - That Day Part 3

When Alan entered the van, Alan saw a lot of transformed people like himself. The officer climbed into the passenger seat in the front of the van.

"Why hello there, ice girl," A girl with horns and a spade-shaped tail said to Alan.

For some reason, Alan felt a little insecure around this girl. She was wearing a very lewd outfit, but that was not the reason. She had an aura of maturity around her that made Alan feel strange. But, it was clear to Alan that this was the girl that helped him subdue his aura.

"Thanks for before," Alan said.

"No problem. My name is Clare by the way. Nice to meet you," The girl said.

"I'm Alan," Alan said.

"Ooh, did you used to be a man?" Clare asked.

Alan nodded

"How interesting," Clare said, licking her lips.

Alan was weirded out by this woman.

"Clare here was giving every guy a tent in their pants before she learned to subdue her aura. Luckily, that didn't last too long," A female officer, who was the driver of the van said.

"Not just guys, Emily. You know that all too well," Clare said seductively to the officer.

"Stop trying. I don't swing that way," Emily said, shutting down Clare completely.

Clare sighed in disappointment.

"Please don't mind Clare. She has just has gotten a little strange after her change," Said a boy with different-looking horns and a lizard tail. "Clint, by the way. I'm Clare's boyfriend. Nice to meet you,"

"Um, nice to meet you too," Alan said back.

There were two other people in the van, but they were asleep. One of them was a girl who had pointy ears and long blonde hair, and another one was a boy with really long teeth and catlike features.

Clare and Clint looked like they were in their early 20s. If they were in high school, they would be a popular couple. They were some of the most beautiful people that Alan had ever seen. They also seemed to hold themselves up well and seemed to have a great degree of self-confidence.

Eventually, the van arrived at its destination. They had arrived at a hospital. The two people who were sleeping were jarred awake. The group was escorted by some guards into the hospital. When they entered the hospital, they were escorted into an isolated room. The hospital seemed to be filled with people who not only changed, but many others as well.

The guards left the group, and Emily opened a door and guided the group inside a large room.

"Somebody will be here in a minute to explain what is going on in the world and what is going on with your bodies," Emily said and proceeded to leave the room.

Later, a guard came and escorted the people who were sleeping inside the van outside of the room.

Alan was getting quite tired because it was still late at night, and that seemed to be the case with the others in the room as well. Clare and Clint were talking to each other, and Alan sat down, exhausted by the day's events.

After a few minutes passed, a woman came through the doors.

"Hello there, friends! My name is Akshika, and I will be explaining your situation to you. You can stay seated. I'm sure you are all exhausted." She said.

"Now, I was updated on all of your situations," Akshika said. She then pointed to me and Clare and said "I was told that you two emitted auras that you had to actively suppress. Is this correct?"

They nodded.

"I will explain everything, but first I need to take a blood sample from all three of you," She said.

They obliged. First, it was Alan's turn. But, when Akshika tried to draw Alan's blood, the needle wouldn't pierce his skin. The needle was covered in a thin layer of ice that blocked it from penetrating Alan's skin.

"Well, I guess we need to extract your blood first," Akshika said, turning to Clare.

Clare was able to get her blood extracted, but it was strange. When her blood was extracted, it was black. Clare was disgusted by this, while Akshika was intrigued.

"How interesting," She said under her breath.

Next, it was Clint's turn. But, similar to Alan, the needle would not pierce Clint's skin. Akshika was visibly disappointed, and Clint breathed a sigh of relief. Alan wondered if this was because Clint had a fear of needles.

"Well, that was quite the failure. Anyhow, I think it's about time I give you lot an explanation," Akshika said. "Please don't freak out when you hear what I have to say."

They all nodded.
