She pursed her lips. She did not sit by his side as he requested, but lowered her head and walked to the other side of Yaoyao.
Long Yin glanced at her when he saw this but was not offended.
Yaoyao did not notice anything wrong between the two of them. When she saw Hexin sitting next to her, she quickly took Hexin's hand affectionately. Then, she exclaimed with slight surprise. "Xinxin, why are your hands so cold?"
Lu Liangwei walked in at that moment. She took a bowl from one of the servants and placed it in front of Hexin.
"Xinxin, here is some brown sugar water. Have it while it's hot. You'll feel better."
"Alright." Hexin drank the brown sugar water as instructed.
Yaoyao watched her drink while resting her chin on her hand. Once Hexin was done, Yaoyao asked, "Xinxin, did a relative of yours stop by for a visit?"
Hexin looked at her blankly. "Relative?"
