Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 - Feisty Wet Kitten

Just a few minutes ago:

Raymond walked out of the tub of warm water and covered himself with a robe and wore his loose red pants.

His legs led him to the table near the window where the lone bottle of his special red wine was carefully placed. He sat down and poured the iron scented liquid in a goblet. "Ah such a heavenly scent, much better than fresh blood," he whispered, licking his dry lips.

His canines slowly grew out into fangs from just a sniff. He glanced out at the dark sky and smirked. "Cold rain, blood wine, what a good combination," he whispered and brought the goblet close to his mouth.

"YOU FUCKER!!!" a loud shout startled him. The goblet slipped slightly, dripping the precious liquid all over his robe.

"No, precious wine!!" he licked the residue off of hands, but his cloth had already soaked it all in. Sighing, he glanced out the window.

"Who the hell is shouting so late at night?" he angrily walked over and peered out. A girl in a white shirt was shouting profanities at the ocean and cried loudly. "What is wrong with her? It's not like the ocean is going to reply to her," he mumbled gruffly sipping his heavenly wine. His carefully tailored mood had been shattered, but this single annoying human. "Should I just push her off? She made me spill my precious sustenance," he whispered thoughtfully.

Right then, the girl turned over and flipped her wet silver white hair over her shoulder.

'Oh, it's that girl,' he thought as he peered at her curiously. But as he watched her closer, he noticed something. 'Why is she naked in the rain? Is this their tactics now to seduce me? It's getting too old,'

"Shameless," he whispered.

The girl suddenly snapped up towards him with a glare. "Do you have a problem with me, sir?" she said gritting her teeth.

Raymond glanced at her chest going up and down in rage. All of a sudden his heart pounded a little faster at this sight. To cover up his embarrassment, he took a sip of the bloody wine, "I said you are shameless,"

"What right do you have to say that to me, bastard?" she whispered, gritting her teeth loudly.

Looking at her kitten like angry face, he suddenly wanted to tease her a little. But watching her hair getting soaking wet, he worriedly tossed his rode at her. "Don't embarrass yourself even more. it's pathetic,"

"YOU..." she fiercely pointed a finger at him.

Raymond smirked. "Oh before you continue, it would be better for you to cover up. Even if you strip yourself naked, I won't be tempted Lady," {'but I can only be tempted by blood.'} He thought to himself.

"What do you mean? I have no intentions if seducing you, you bastard....."

"Then why are exposing your breasts? Are you perhaps one of those nudists who prefer to show off their naked skin? Hmm, I might have been out of society for long for such an abnormal thing to become a trend," he said teased her a little. Just watching her rage at him was entertaining to watch. He sipped the wine again and peered at her breasts once more. 'Pink... she is pink,' he thought to himself, hiding his blush.

"Hump, bastard," she shouted and ran away.

Watching her silver white hair swish around, he softly chuckled. "Lady Eloise Aylen, hmm, you look like a wet kitten. But you can't compare to my blood wine," he whispered, tasting the delicious iron filled drink. "Yes, nothing beats blood,"

Right as he was about to finish his goblet, someone knocked on his door rudely. "Raymond~ open up, it's your darling friend. Why won't you let me in?" an annoying voice shouted from outside.

Sighing, Raymond carefully stored his blood wine. He opened the door halfway and glared at him. "Why are you disrupting my wine time?"

The blond man smirked widely. "It's because I've got you a treat tomorrow,"

With a wooden look, Raymond closed the door on him.

"Hey!! Hey I've got an appointment for you for some fresh blood tomorrow," Fred shouted aloud.

Raymond opened the door again and peered out. "I have my blood wine, no thank you."

"But it's a special variety. Have you tasted a young silver haired human's blood? I heard rumours tight it tastes different," Fred shouted trying to keep the door open.

Just the thought of silver hair Raymond couldn't help but remember the little wet kitten. "Is it?" his grip on the door loosed.

Fred barged in and panted. "Yes, she owes me a favour, so I asked her for some blood just for you. Tell me, aren't I good friend?" he nudged his shoulders.

Raymond brushed off his hand rudely. "How much more investment do you need?"

"Ten thousand pounds more please," Fred said happily.
