The sunlight laid through the white curtain as the young woman yawned. Her honey brown eyes flickered under the bright sunlight. "It is already morning?" She murmured with a frown. She felt like she still needed to sleep. After a loud sigh, Mara sat up on the bed with half opened eyes.
She looked up at the clock on the wall, it was 8 in the morning. She closed her eyes again, was not ready to get up. But unfortunately her stomach growled, making Mara sighed tiredly again. She also needed to get ready for the show which was going to happen in an hour.
Mara looked around for the phone which she found in her room yesterday. Since the phone did not have password, she could easily open it and use it. She checked her bank account with a frown. There wasn't enough money in her bank account.
"Damn, what the fuck am I supposed to do with this tiny amount?" She rolled her eyes, wanting to rob a bank. After some minutes, she decided to go to original Mara Athena's father's villa and ask for money. If he refused to give, she decided to point the gun at him.
"Today is Sunday.."
She murmured as stepped out of the bed. When she got money, she had to shop for herself and the Husky because the original Mara Athena did not have fashion sense and did not care about herself. Mara walked into the bathroom while humming the random song.
She did her morning routine and took a shower quickly seeing that her empty stomach was asking for food. She looked at the clothes which original Mara had. "What a stupid girl" she furiously spoke under her breath. There were simple tight jeans and t-shirts only.
The sight of simple clothes made the young woman frowned and sighed. "I think I have sighed for thousand times" she spoke to herself tiredly. In the end, she chose a dress which was kept in the box. It looked like original Mara Athena treasured that dress.
The young woman wore a dragon's breath colored shoulder off strapped dress without hesitating. "Come to think of it, where is Husky?" She was sure that her Husky slept with her last night, but in the morning he was nowhere to be found. She believed her Husky went out for a walk or he must be finding something to eat.
"It is show time!"
She stepped out of the room confidently. Her steps directed to the dining room. The house was not that huge and it was in silence. Mara frowned, at least the CEO of famous company should have a villa. Now the poor girl was living under her asshole father's control.
As she stepped into the dining room, there were two maids sitting at the dining table while eating snacks. The two maids rolled their eyes when they noticed the young woman. They stood up from the seats and walked past the young woman, completely ignoring Mara.
Mara furrowed her brows at the behavior of the maids. They were acting like the owners of the house, not doing their jobs. "Stop right there before I feed you all to my dog" Mara's sharp voice made the maids frowned in confusion.
When did the young woman become like that? The two maids ignored the young woman and kept walking. "Don't make me repeat!" Mara shouted as she walked towards the host seat. The two maids could not help but turned around at the young woman with tightened frowns.
"I am hungry, go cook something delicious. Don't forget to bring grape juice" Mara sat down at the host seat as she looked up at the two maids with a cold face. "The breakfast time is over, you should go back to your room and rest" one of the maids suddenly spoke bravely.
Her face was showing disrespect.
"No no no, you are wrong. It is not over until I say so. Go cook me something delicious right now" Mara leaned back on the seat and crossed her arms, her fox eyes were on the maids, giving the two maids chills down to their spines.
The old woman who slapped Mara, came out of the kitchen when she noticed the situation. "Mara Athena, don't cause troubles. You should go back to your room" she said with hands on hip while a tightened frown was seen on her face. The two maids quietly laughed at Mara.
"Looks like I spoiled you all too much" Mara sighed as her lips curved up into a smile which hid many meanings. She looked up at the clock on the wall with wrinkled eyebrows. "3.. 2.. 1.." she counted the numbers, waiting for something to come back.
"Baby! Come here!" Mara shouted, calling her Siberian Husky. 'Thank goodness, this Mara got that loyal dog as a birthday present'. Siberian Husky was the birthday present from Mara Athena's mother when she was thirteen years old.
The black and white colors mixed dog walked into the dining room. "Woof!" the dog's loud scary bark made the maids flinched at the corner. He always come back to the house at 10 in the morning after going wherever he wanted. It was shown in the novel.
Mara smiled at the sight of her dog which was running towards her joyfully. She knew that her Husky would come to her whenever she called him. "Good morning, my baby!" she ruffled the dog's soft fur as the dog smiled at his owner while wagging his tail.
"You must be hungry since it is still morning. Go bite that woman and eat her" Mara pointed at the old woman who slapped her in the room yesterday. There was a normal smile on Mara's face. It was as if she was ordering her dog to go get the ball.
The woman and maids eyes widened in disbelief. They might hate the young woman but they could not dare to mess around with the Siberian Husky. That dog only obeyed his one and only owner, Mara Athena. He would bite a person to death if his owner wanted him to.
The Husky turned his head towards the woman who was trembling. He growled, showing his sharp teeth at everyone as he slowly and slowly walked towards the woman. The two maids gulped in fear, knowing that the old woman was going to be in pieces in a minute.
The old woman gulped, her legs started to move, trying to run away. But was stopped by Mara's words. "Whoever move will die first!" Mara shouted as she smiled at the three who were looking at her in disbelief. The Husky's steps became quicker and quicker.
No one dared to move nor run, they just stood at the place like statues. Praying loudly in their minds. Their bodies were shaking in fear. As the Husky stopped in front of the woman, he bit the woman's leg without hesitating.
"AH!! HELP!! HELP!!"
The woman yowled. Mara was watching everything with a satisfied smile. "Hey you!" she pointed the finger at one of the maids, making the girl flinched. "Go get me grape juice quickly" Mara ordered as the girl ran into the kitchen in hurry.
"AH! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!! HOW DARE YOU DO THAT, MARA ATHENA?! I FED YOU AND TREATED YOU WELL! AND THIS IS WHAT I GOT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! AH! MARA ATHENA!" the woman struggled under the dog's sharp teeth.
Her leg started to bleed as the whole house covered in the woman's shout. "Oh my god! You are so loud! Can't you shut up?" Mara frowned as she shook her head. The maid who was standing at the corner, stared at her Young Miss in fear and disbelief.
How could that weak young woman watch the horrible scene with a smile? What was going on? Why did the young woman turn into a devil? She was a little innocent girl who could easily get bullied but now she changed into a bully.
"Where is my grape juice?!!" Mara shouted impatiently. "Here! H-here is your grape juice, Young M-miss" the girl ran out of the kitchen and put down the glass on the table with shaking hands. Mara was secretly laughing at the situation.
They deserved that. Since that old woman treated the poor girl like a doll, she deserved to be bit by a dog at least. "Alright, stop baby!" Mara made the dog stopped biting the old woman furiously. "Come here!" she clapped her hands as a signal of calling the dog.
The woman could not even stand up, the two maids quickly helped her to get up from the floor. "She is little old, So it must be easy to break that woman's bone. Do you want to taste a fresh bone?" Mara raised her eyebrow at her dog, making the maids tremble in fear and anxiety.
"I-I am sorry, Miss Mara!"
Suddenly one of the maids knelt down on the floor, she bowed at the young woman with tears, begging to spare her. She did not want to die. She was afraid of death. No matter how the young woman changed, that girl still had a heart right? The young woman would forgive her, right?
"Why are you apologizing? Oh, you mean you want to be my dog's breakfast?" Mara's lips curved up into a grin as she ruffled the dog's hair, her fox eyes were on the maid who was lowering her head in fear, avoiding an eye contact.
"N-no, Miss! Please forgive me! It is all because of that damned woman! She was the one who told me to ignore you! I was forced to do it, Miss!" the maid defended herself as she blamed on the old woman. "How dare you!" the old woman shouted in frustration.
"What?! It is you who told me to treat Young Miss as an air!" the maid turned around at the old woman and shouted. "Weren't you the one who said you wanted to take Mara Athena's position?! You even tried to kill her!" the old woman yelled back.
"Shut up, you old wicked woman! You are the one who did everything from the start because you wanted to become Sir wife!" the two bickered. "AHAHAHAHA" Mara laughed out loud in satisfaction. She listened to the two bickering like dogs, they were blaming each other.
"So it was that old woman who did everything?" Mara cut the two's conversation, she raised her eyebrow and questioned. The maid turned around to the young woman and nodded as her lips formed into a smile. She thought Mara was going to believe her and forgive her.
'You are so easy to read' Mara chuckled, she could see through the obvious lies. "Then you should not be punished!" Mara excitedly spoke, making the maid smiled in satisfaction. "Yes, Young Miss! That's right! I am very innocent" the maid defended herself.
"Alright! I understand! Come here! I shall reward you for speaking the truth! You deserve to be rewarded because you are innocent!" Mara signaled the maid to come near to her. The old woman and the other maid watched and waited to see what was going to happen.
