The Head of the Yang Family ignored his bodyguard and continued to look around. He was still calling out at the wall, in hopes that the intruder would reply.
However, even after a few minutes had passed, there was still no sign of suspicious activity. Only then did Yang Jiang close his eyes and take a deep breath.
The bodyguards rubbed their foreheads in unison.
"What kind of person would do such a thing?"
"If that person really is in the room now, it wouldn't make sense as to why we weren't able to see him," the bodyguard relayed his thoughts before hesitating. "Do you think...do you think it could be a spirit?"
It would make sense why they could hear the voice, yet not see the voice's owner.
The bodyguards had been by Yang Jiang's side for so many years. Not only were they experienced, but they were also considered the best in their fields.
It was impossible for them to not be able to catch anybody.
That person must be a spirit.
