"Grandma, what are you doing here?" Mr. Fang asked as his knitted brows knitted in a frown while taking a step forward to descend the stairs.
A voice went off in his Zhang Liling's head immediately.
'Grandma? That old lady is his grandmother?'
At that sudden realization and coupled with the fact that she could no longer hide behind Mr. Fang since he stepped forward, she immediately spurned on her heels and disappeared from sight.
Mr. Fang's brows arched as he could hear the retreating footsteps behind. 'Is she running away?' He looked amused after his deduction and felt like giving her a hard time by calling her back.
But because his grandmother was a handful and would probably take the reins in the conversation if he involved her, he decided to let her go.
Old Lady Fang seemed excited to see her grandson as her smile immediately reached her eyes, forming a stricks of wrinkles at the corner.
