Back at Empire City,
Melody left work early. Her encounter with Emma did help elevate her mood, but it rather killed her mojo to work. She felt annoyed and easily irritated. She needs to clear her mind and get rid of Damian from it. Since being in his office was not helping, she had to leave and find somewhere to cool off. She needed a drink.
So here she was, in a club with Abigail beside her watching her closely. Abigail had no idea what made Melody decide to visit a club today but she didn't want to probe since Melody didn't want to talk about it. She took out her phone and sent a text message to Smith informing him of their whereabouts even though she knew that he might already be aware of it.
Melody started drinking, taking shot after shot, surprisingly, her alcohol tolerance was really good. But Abigail knew that she had to stop her before she got too high and out of control.
