Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4

"Finally, that jinx is leaving!"

"I wonder who will be doing all the hard work now!"

"Who cares? It's her fault for being too ugly."

"I once saw her at some time and damn, she was too scary!"

"It doesn't matter what reason she got fired for, as long as she is gone, then we can have some space here."

Everyone was happy to see that Diamond was gone, but someone was quite sad. The person couldn't help but look at the girl leaving with a straight back, 'I am sorry that I am just a coward. I hope that the next time we meet, I will be courageous enough.'

Diamond didn't care anymore about what other people thought of her. In her head, she was thinking about the house she was supposed to go and see that day.

One day she was going to pay everyone back for what they did to her, so she was going to use these five years wisely and create an empire that would take care of future generations.

Diamond didn't have a lot of things, so the box was almost half. She didn't want to continue carrying rubbish, so she threw everything away in a bin and only kept some photos of herself.

Diamond had read too many novels, and she didn't want to suffer at all. Going to a real estate agency wearing the cheap clothes she had currently on was a big NO. She wanted to be treated well and there was no way that she was going to embarrass herself for the sake of doing some face-slapping later.

She didn't have time for that. She would rather use that time to do something more useful and think of what to do next now that she was jobless.

Diamond took out the bank card that was gifted to her by the system on the first night she bound to it and happily made her way to the shopping mall.

She didn't have millions, but her money was enough to last her for years and her family if she was frugal. But knowing that she may receive something better in the future; she decided to spoil herself a little.

The first thing that she did was to buy some clothes. Although they were cheap, they were still much better than the ones she was used to wearing.

There was no way she was going to buy some expensive clothes now when there was so much to do with the money. After spending around A$3,000 on clothes and shoes, she visited the phone shop and bought a phone that she had always wanted.

The phone was quite expensive, but it was worth it. Spending just A$9,500 on one phone was simply hilarious, but she still had more than two hundred thousand on her bank card, so she was still safe.

Diamond then bought a new sim card and registered all the services including e-wallet which allows her to receive, send, and make payments with her phone or a VISA card that she bought for a mere A$50.

She also linked her card to her bank account so that in the future she could directly just send money from either the bank account to the phone or vice versa. After doing that, she transferred A$1,000 from her bank, leaving a mere A$3,000 in it, which she was going to send to her parents later.

After doing all of this, she was now ready to go and meet the manager who called her before regarding the house.

And as she was on her way to the taxi rank, she suddenly heard in her head, [Sign In!]

It was at that point that she suddenly recalled that somehow; she hadn't signed in yesterday. She had been so happy about what she received that she completely forgot about this issue.

She didn't know if she was going to sign in twice, but even once was still good too.

Diamond then responded, 'Yes, go ahead.'

Immediately another notification was heard again and Diamond was so surprised, shocked, and thrilled at the same time.

[The host has been rewarded with an SUV Arcadelle and a jade hairpin.]

Diamond was so happy when she heard this that she quickly claimed the rewards. Diamond quickly found a quiet place and, in her hands, appeared a hairpin that looked very beautiful and it suited the current her perfectly.

She also received the car keys, the location where the car was currently parked which was nearby, and a walking distance.

Diamond was very excited, and she hurriedly made her way toward the car park building that was just a few streets away.

She walked into the building, admiring the several cars that were parked. It was very difficult for her to see which car belonged to her, so she pressed the car keys and immediately she spotted the car.

With its headlights flashing brightly like that, she would be a fool if she couldn't see it.

Diamond was soon at the car and she couldn't help but circle it to admire the beautiful beast that had been rewarded to her, "surely, doing good deeds is truly a good thing."

Diamond wasn't a novice when it came to driving. She took her driver's license around four years ago when she was still in university and at that time, she had just started dating that b****.

It had become a habit for her to go around with all her identification cards in her wallet wherever she went, so she didn't need to fear that she would be arrested by the police while driving.

It's just that the driver's license needed to be renewed. After all, she looked a bit different from before.

As she was busy checking the car while sitting in the driver's seat, she received a call from her old phone and it was that real estate manager calling.

She was on the phone for a short time and soon hung up. She felt a bit embarrassed as she had unknowingly missed the appointment time that she had set earlier.

Diamond drove as carefully as possible, as she didn't want anything to happen to the car. Because there wasn't any traffic, it took her roughly thirty minutes before she reached the real estate agency where she was going for a meeting.

When she arrived, she parked the car professionally and got out of the car, oozing a lot of confidence. She wasn't wearing any wig or mask, so her beauty was exposed for everyone to see.

There were a few people currently going in and out of the building, and they couldn't help but glance at her with envy a few times.
