Chapter 26 - Episode 26: "You... Who... Are You?"

Seeing as there is no point arguing with these people about age and the way they call him, he chose to ask something else.

"What does she plan on doing with my brother?"

"I already told you, she will be helping him so just wait patiently."

Inside the dome.

Julian was silently amazed at the sturdiness of the dome.

It has both water and wind attributes that no matter what happens inside, no one would be able to hear anything from the outside.

He tapped his foot on the ground and felt that it could even withstand strong attacks.

The size wasn't too big either, so surely the enormous trees outside could hide it.

"Now then, attack me with your power."

He raised his brow upon hearing what she said, "You are weaker than me."

"Yes, I never said I am stronger but I know more than you. Don't belittle me too much."

Without holding back, since she has no sword at the moment, she created a sword with her own ability, the moon ability.

"Come. And don't hold back. That is if you don't want to die."

He wanted to ask but chose to stop, he could do it some other time.

For now, he will do as she says because he does feel heavier and heavier as time goes by.

White light surrounded him and his sword.

He swung his sword and a bright white light slashed towards Luna.

But she simply jumped to avoid it.

He did not stop and continuously swung his sword towards her.

As he did, the color of his eyes turned completely silver.

The characteristic that Luna spoke of about those who have the same ability as them.

Once their power is used their eye color would completely change to that of silver.

As he attacked, Luna looked like she was gliding along the ice, she was beautifully avoiding each and every attack he sent her way.

He had not sparred with her but he was astonished with her movement. It seems that she is indeed a main attacker and not a support.

While he continued attacking her he noticed that a white light was surrounding her feet.

'She was using it as a means to make her movements faster and swifter.'

He chose to attack her head-on, this time.

Rushing to her and enveloping his sword with the power of the moon. Also doing the same as she was, enveloping his feet with the power of the moon.

He never tried this before since he was adamant about keeping it. He only knew how to use it to attack and knew that it was stronger and much more destructive than the fire ability.

Luna raised her eyebrow, it seems that he really does not know a lot about the reason why the power of the moon is currently the strongest power.

He was obviously just copying her since the power enveloping his feet wasn't as sturdy as hers. If attacked it would surely break apart.

While what she was using was actually also acting as a barrier for her legs.

The battle dragged on for a while.

After a while, she also started using her power not simply evading his attacks. The sword in her hand stopped being a display and instead was used for its purpose.

Her eyes turned silver in the process.

As she attacks, Julian is trying to learn how she does things.

How she applied them and how she used them to their full strength.

He can clearly see that what he was using as a copy of what she was doing was completely lacking.

But he never met someone who has the same power as him, so he never really learned how to properly use it.

Or the difference between the powers coming from the moon and the stars.

"We should end it here."

Both were breathing hard.

He nodded his head in agreement, as compared to when they started, when he was feeling too full as if he was about to explode, right now, he felt that he was able to digest everything.

"Oh, they are done," Aaron commented.

He and Richard dispersed the dome, they could feel whatever it was that was happening inside.

But the power of the moon is very difficult to contain, they had beads of sweat on their forehead since they had to keep up with the attacks coming from the inside. The reason why Luna asked the two of them to create the barrier. In order not to apply too much pressure on one of them.

This is an emergency situation where she has no choice but to get their help even though she wishes that they could just recover first.

Gabriel once again looked at his brother's arms and legs and found that it had returned to normal. The veins are already visible.

"It is fine if you wish to hide it but you have to use it or you will just kill yourself by exploding."

She slightly frowned, 'That's right, why are you not using it? You should be using it. Just like everyone else.'

After having this thought, she ended up collapsing.

Being the one closest to her, Julian was able to catch her on time and realized that she was running a very high fever.

"Wha-"

She doesn't seem like she was sick during their battle.

Why was she suddenly like this?

Spencer took over in supporting her and carrying her in his arms.

"It is fine. We are injured and so is she, this only meant that she had overworked herself."

Julian thought back to what his brother said again, they cannot be healed normally.

But she still chose to help him out and her words before collapsing, he was actually about to die without fully realizing it just because he did not wish to use his ability.

"After all this, your help is truly needed by our kingdom, your knowledge? I can tell that it is vast. However, I think I would have to apologize for this. It was I who asked to employ you but she ended up being sick and I even pointed my sword at her... twice," Julian was truly feeling guilty for his reactions.

Spencer shook his head, "This is a great opportunity for us. We are grateful for such instead. And she was the one who was not explaining things properly, so let's let it go now."

"Since you guys have just arrived and it is already quite late, let me be the one to prepare a place for you to stay," Julian suggested.

Spencer carried Luna on his back while they followed Julian and Gabriel to the main gate of the imperial city.

They are now taking a different step from before.

They are going to start living a different life by following the orders of the royal family.

This time, they chose differently-

"Yo- Your Highness, crown prince Julian!!"

"Your Highness, Prince Gabriel!!"

All four of them abruptly stopped upon reaching the gates for when Julian and Gabriel walked in, all guards suddenly turned flustered and called out a title they had not expected at all.

"I need a building from the barracks. Five rooms in total. Get someone to check if there are any that are available, especially the one under me," Julian instructed.

"You can all stay there as much as you like. What you did for me and my brother is enough to grant you that much especially since you are going to be employed by us-"

"Brother."

Gabriel pulled on his sleeve to get his attention.

Julian looked back to see that the four of them remained rooted at the entrance of the gate.

"What's wrong?"

"You... Who... are you?" Spencer asked.

Julian remembered that he had not completely introduced himself to them.

"That's right. Allow me to reintroduce myself. I am Julian Lawrence Blakewell."

They were agape. The words of the guards meant that they had been with the crown prince all this time.

No, in the first place, why is the crown prince all on his own in the Dark Forest?

Why does he not even have one single guard with him?

"And I am Gabriel Lucian Blakewell."

And they actually met two princes.

Remembering everything that happened, the four of them slowly turned to the now-sleeping Luna.

Though she is running a fever, it is not as high as it was when she first woke up. It is still worrying but it seems she did not really go all out with Julian and instead allowed him to do all the attacks while she mostly defended.

At this moment, they only have one thought, is she going to live?

"Your Highness, a place is available at the silver barracks."

There are five barracks in total that are in the vicinity of the palace.

Golden barracks are where the main knights of the king reside.

Blue barracks is where the main knights of the queen reside.

Green barracks is where the main knights under Gabriel reside.

Red barracks where the main knights under the princess reside.

And finally, the silver barracks where the main knights of the crown prince reside.

None other than Julian himself.

"Good. Inform them that I will be bringing a group with me at this moment."

Julian looked at Gabriel, "You go back and rest."

Gabriel sighed, "Father is really mad."

Julian chuckled, "I know."

After he watched Gabriel leave, he turned to Spencer and the rest.

"You are all considered as my saviour. So, can you accept this arrangement for the time being? Until at least her fever subsides?"

He knew this would be their reaction once they found out about his real name.

"Once she wakes up, we can talk about how I will employ you," he added.

Spencer sighed, "We shall accept it, your highness."

At this time, they have no choice. They can think about the rest once they rest.

Because they are truly tired at this moment, especially Aaron and Richard who had to help Luna in saving Julian from his self-explosion.
