"I am Emma, Damian's girlfriend. I am here to visit him." the woman, Emma said, with pride in her eyes and voice. There was no way anyone could suspect a lie from her.
After hearing her, Melody took a while to descend it. After she did, Melody felt a sharp pain in her heart and she ached from within suddenly feeling disgusted. How could Damian do that? He was supposed to be different right? She shouldn't be like others. She thought he was different. Yet it seems that all are cut from the same cloth.
She couldn't believe that she almost fell for him. He has a girlfriend yet he was busy hitting and making advances on her. Realizing that they were still someone in the room she quickly masked her feelings and kept a blank expression on her face as if what the woman said did not affect her.
